Forces arrest three ultras

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Nov 20
Chhattisgarh Police arrested as many as three cadres of the banned organisation, including a female ultras carrying reward of Rs 2 lakh, from insurgency-hit Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, said police on November 19.
A joint squad of District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF), District Force and Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA), an elite force of Central Reserve Police Force, undertaking anti-naxal exercise in limits of Basaguda police station arrested the naxals near village Peddagelur, police sources informed.
The arrested were identified as Madvi Bhime (23), an active member of military platoon number 10 and carrying cash reward of Rs 2 lakh, Muchaki Bhima (20) and Midiam Lakhma (22), said police sources, elaborating that Muchaki and Midiam were active in the outlawed organisation as militia members, informed police sources.
Police sources further informed that from the possession of arrested Maoists, police have recovered tiffin bomb, detonators, electric wire, naxal uniform, Maoists literature and other materials, added police sources.
