Football and the world of sports have lost a greatest player of all time as Diego Maradona on Wednesday passes away. The Argentina soccer legend reportedly died due to heart failure.
According to information received, the autopsy report revealed acute secondary lung edema to exacerbated chronic heart failure as cause for the death of the 60-year-old football legend. Argentina has announced three days national mourning to mark the passing away of Maradona, who was magician with football at his feeet.
As the news of Maradona’s death was confirmed by The Argentine Football Association, the social media platform flooded with condolence post and posts highlighting the player’s achievements.
Apart from successful sports career, several controversies were associated with the football legend.
