As many as four persons, including three women and a child, were died in a road mishap too place on Firozabad-Fariha road on Thursday, police said.
According to police sources, the tragic incident took place near the Bhooteshwar temple under Narkhi police station area. Three women and a child were killed in a road accident reportedly after a truck hit an auto-rickshaw. One person was reported to be injured in the accident.
Police have recovered the bodies and sent for autopsies, said police sources, elaborating that fearing police action and public wrath, the accused truck driver fled the spot.
Police have registered an offence against the accused truck driver and launched a search to nab him, added police sources.
