A woman bludgeoned her husband to death at village Gaibuda under Bagicha Police Post Pandrapath. The woman was fed up of daily beating and constantly suspicion cast on her character by the man.
According to the reports, man Kishun Ram Korva was a habitual drinker. Every day after getting high on liquor, Keshav used to physically assault his wife Munnibai. He also suspected her of having extra-marital affairs for no apparent reason.
The daily abuse drove the woman to a point when she lost her cool and slammed the head of the man with a heavy object. The man was taken to Bagicha hospital, but couldn’t be saved. Bagicha Police booked Munnibai under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code on November 26.
The woman had run away after the incident. She was arrested from Chundapath on Sunday night. The woman confessed the crime and told the police that she hit the man in the head with an iron pipe. She was later produced in a Court.
