Amidst the constant pressure from rising prices of petrol-diesel and vegetables, public sector oil companies gave some relief by keeping the LPG prices unchanged on December 1, 2020.
However, the price of 19 kilogram commercial gas cylinder has been hiked by Rs 55. Highest hike was made in Chennai at Rs 56 per cylinder, so the per LPG cylinder cost Rs 1410.50 in Chennai. In Delhi, it is Rs 1296 after an increase by Rs 55 and Rs 1351.50 in Kolkata and Rs 1244 in Mumbai.
Nation’s biggest public sector oil company Indian Oil Corporation website mentions that domestic cylinder of 14.2 kg weight is priced at Rs 594 in Delhi Rs 610 in Chennai, and Rs 620.50 in Kolkata.
The prices of domestic gas cylinders were increased last in the month of July. On July 1, 2020, the price was increased by Rs 4 for 14.2 kg cylinder to Rs 594, in Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, the price was Rs 594, Rs 620.50, Rs 594 and Rs 610 per cylinder respectively.
