Naxals brutally killed three villagers in two separate incidents in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. Maoists assassinated husband of a woman Sarpanch in Dantewada and killed two villagers in Bijapur.
The villagers were killed in Kangaroo court on the charges of police informers. In Dantewada, Handwada Sarpanch’s husband Santosh Kashyap was abducted from village Bedma by Naxals, who later killed him and dumped his dead body on the village road. A police team recovered the body. Dantewada SP Abhishek Pallav had verified the incident.
On the same day, Maoists also killed two villagers in Bijapur. Naxals suspected the villagers were informers of police. A police team was dispatched to the spot, which is at Gongala village under Gangalur Police Station. No report was registered by the time of the report.
Police also recovered three IEDs planted on the route of security forces at Patkalbeda area under Tadoki Police Station limits.
