Raipur, Dec 3

Chhatra Sangharsh Morcha Raipur demanded Pt Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) to allow students missed their examination in the month of March this year due to the f ear of Covid-19.

Morcha convener Mudit Bhargava said the university should follow July 6, 2020 guidelines of Union Human Resource Development Ministry/ UGC. The guidelines clearly read that in the academic session 2019-2020, students of any university of India affiliated to UGC, who could not sit in the annual examination for any reason (reason), will get an opportunity to appear in the special examination.

But many students including University topper student of Abhijeet Bhargava of Physical Education College Raipur,  could not sit in the annual examination conducted by Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University from March 1 to March 20, 2020 due to panic of Corona pandemic. As now the university administration refuses to take special examinations, the future of students is at stake.

In this regard, Bhargava wrote a letter to the Union Human Resource Minister, UGC Chairman and Secretary and the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and the Minister of Higher Education, urging them to intervene so that the students’ future could be saved
