Raipur, Dec 3
As online registration is open for counselling/admission in BEd colleges across the state from November 26 to December 5 under the first phase and State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) is looking after the entire process, many candidates, outsiders in particular, have expressed resentment over the ambiguity in online registration system.
When it comes to filling up the subject details in the page allotted by the SCERT for BEd Online Registration system, it has been designed in such a manner that it suits only those candidates who are doing or have completed graduation in three-year examination pattern. Those candidate, who have obtained certificates issued by their respective universities for first year, second year and third years for graduation courses, can successfully fill the page carrying subject details. On the other hand, those candidates who have completed graduation under one time examination system such as examination in the final/third years of the graduation are unable to register themselves with the SCERT.
Candidates from other states, including Odisha, are not able to fill the subject details and marks sought in the step two of the online registration system of SCERT as it seeks marks of first and second year. It is to be mentioned, in Odisha, one examination used to conducted by the university i.e. in the final year of three years degree course instead of holding examination every year. Such candidates are now unable to fill up the registration form online. The SCERT on the other hand takes it long to resolve the issue despite the fact that the first phase of registration will over on December 5.
