Revelry turned into panic and cry, Six of a marriage party including the groom were killed when the tractor-trolley they were travelling in overturned after losing control near Mahlu village under Khalwa Police Station of Khandwa district on Thursday.
According to the reports, the marriage party of Kunwar Singh was coming from village Garbedi of Khalwa on a tractor-trolley. The trolley laden with guests suddenly turned over and plunged into a drainage 15-feet deep. Six including the groom were crushed to death on the spot. Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh took stock of the spot and sent the injured people to the district hospital.
According to reports, deceased were identified as groom Kunwar Singh, son of Lalluram, Bhagwati, wife of Salagram, Sarjubai, wife of Govind, Budhiyabai, wife of Bhagirath, Tulsi Bai, wife of Hira, and Gopibai, wife of Mansharam.
