Three youths met a tragic end and two critically wounded when the Bolero car they were travelling in rammed into a truck on between Kodatarai and Tetla at 11 pm on Wednesday. The youths were returning from marriage function at Bargah, Raigarh.
According to the reports, the car hit a truck near Mangla college. The car body was completely mangled and three of the five youths died on the spot. Two of the injured youths were rushed to the medical college’s intensive care unit.
There were 8 youths in the car when they set off from the marriage function, three of them disembarked at Kodatarai and remaining five headed to Chandrapur. Eyewitnesses told the police that Bolero was cruising at very high speed when it rubbed the side of a truck coming from the opposite direction. The Bolero car swerved off the road and flipped over.
Pussor Police TI Ghanshyam Dubey and Jute mill Police TI Amit Shukla had reached the spot and took the injured youths to the hospital.
