Shaley Shikshak Sangh appeals members to tighten belts for another big battle

A division level meeting of the Chhattisgarh Shaley Shikshak Sangh was held in Koriya district of the state on Monday. Sangh State President Virender Dubey was specially present during the meeting. State, district and block level office bearers were present in the meeting that lasted for a few minutes keeping in mind Covid-19 pandemic.
Addressing the meeting, Dubey appealed the members of the Sangh to tighten their belts for a big fight for the promotion and restoration of old pension system. Dubey he said that promotion of posts of Primary School Headmaster, Middle School Headmaster, Lecturer and Principal is mentioned in the gazette notification, but no initiative is being taken by the government for the implementation. Due to non-consideration of the old service period of the merged teachers, the teachers are not getting the benefit of the time bound / gradation pay scale.
Dubey said that after a long battle, merger of shikshakarmis was held. It is also certain that the battle of merger has been achieved only through a solid strategy. “In such a situation, we will put our demand before the government and urge to resolve them. Higher pay scale, old pension, compassionate appointment, promotion, providing weightage by calculating the old service period, etc. will be the major demands,” he said.
