Bhopal, Dec 9

“Work should be done on “routine governance” and “focused agenda” for good governance in the state. While on the one hand, daily routine work of people should be done easily and unhindered, there should be regular action on the primary subjects of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and administration,” said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Continuous monitoring and ranking of all departments of government will be done through CM Dashboard and those who perform well will be rewarded, added the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Chouhan today reviewed the works through video conferencing with all the Commissioners, IGs, Collectors, Superintendents of Police etc. At the beginning of the conference, Chief Minister Chouhan launched the portal of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri and all concerned were present in the meeting.

CM defines Good Governance

Giving the definition of good governance, Chief Minister Chouhan said that good governance means “the people should get benefits of all the facilities being provided by the government in time without any hassles”. Our aim is to give good governance to the people of the state. We have to find ways to do public work and not to find excuses for not working.

Chief Minister Chouhan told the Commissioners-IG, Collectors-Superintendents of Police that “You are the representatives of the government, so it is your responsibility to ensure good governance in your area. You must communicate constantly with people and public representatives”.

Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains informed that the roadmap of all departments of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and department-wise and district-wise information of all departments have been uploaded on the Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh portal. Collectors should also focus on milling work along with procurement

Chief Minister Chouhan said that for the first time in the state, milling work is also being done along with procurement of paddy, so collectors should pay special attention to this. Collectors of bordering districts should take special care that paddy does not come from outside the state for procurement . Under support price purchase, this time 5 lakh 40 thousand tonnes of paddy has been procured, while 2 lakh 15 thousand tonnes of coarse grain jowar and millet have been procured.

35 procurement centres entrusted to self-help groups

Chief Minister Chouhan informed that this time 35 procurement centres have been entrusted to self-help groups and they are doing very well. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to ensure payment of crop sold on support price to the farmers within 3 days.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that while taking effective action against land mafia in the state, their influence has been pushed underground. For this, officers of the districts of Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain, Satna etc. deserve special congratulations. He instructed that during the proceedings, it should be kept in mind that the poor do not face any problem.

Guilty in fake opium case of Neemuch should be sacked

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that action should be taken to dismiss the guilty police officers / employees in the case of implicating a businessman in a fake opium case in Neemuch district.

Complete proceedings against chit fund mafia

Chief Minister Chouhan said that effective action has been taken against chit fund mafia in the state. Rs 17 crore 60 lakh have been returned to 3528 investors by registering 184 cases in the state. Officers of Chhatarpur, Katni, Neemuch, Ratlam districts deserve special congratulations. He said that action should be taken against the chit fund mafia and the investors should get their money back.

Adulteration is a great sin, strict action should be taken

Chief Minister Chouhan said that adulteration is a great sin. Strict action should be taken against adulterators. Proper action has been taken in this regard in Gwalior, Guna, Morena, Jabalpur, Indore Ujjain, similar action should be taken in the remaining districts.

Action must on illegal mining, protection to legal contractors must, application in Bhind district good

Chief Minister Chouhan said that strict action should be taken against illegal sand mining and transportation in all districts of the state. Along with this, legal contractors should be protected. Remarkable work has been done in the districts of Dewas, Singrauli, Guna, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur etc. in this connection. Good experiment has been done to stop illegal mining and transportation in Bhind district, under which illegal mining and transportation has been stopped in the district by installing video cameras and through check-posts etc. in those areas.

Caution against cyber crime must

Chief Minister Chouhan also instructed all district officials to be vigilant against cyber crime. In this connection, Katni, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Sagar were congratulated for good performance. As many as 1711 cyber related crime cases have been registered in the state, in which an amount of Rs one crore 97 lakh has been recovered.

Extreme sensitivity to crimes against women

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh government is extremely sensitive towards crimes against women. Stringent action should be taken in such cases. Recently, a girl who went missing from Hoshangabad was rescued from Nepal border and a girl missing from Budni was rescued from Secunderabad.

Follow up even after conviction in identified crimes

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that follow-up should be done even after punishment the identified and heinous crimes, so that the culprits can be given final punishment. In such cases, 97 people have been sentenced to death and 3553 have been given life imprisonment in the state.

All beneficiaries should get eligibility slips and ration

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that all the 37 lakh new beneficiaries added under the public distribution system in the state should be provided with eligibility slips and ration. Under this, 25 lakh persons have been benefited in the past, the remaining persons should also get benefits soon. In this connection, officers of Chhindwara, Jhabua, Hoshangabad, Agar and Mandla districts were congratulated for their good performance.

Both approval and loan distribution must be ensured in Path Vendor Scheme

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that not only should maximum cases be sanctioned in urban and rural street vendor schemes, but loan distribution should also be ensured in all. For this, necessary coordination with banks is important. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to carry out loan distribution programme under Rural Path Vendor Scheme on December 21 and Urban Path Vendor Scheme on December 26. On this day, loan will be distributed to about one lakh urban street vendors and 74 thousand rural street vendors.
