Matches for junior boys and girls were held at Madhav Rao Sapre Higher Secondary School Table Tennis Hall here under the ongoing 18th Stag Chhattisgarh State Table Tennis Tournament-2020.
In the boys’ final of the junior tournament, Rohan Lalwani of Bilaspur defeated Pranay Chouhan of Raipur in a one side match to lift the championship title. Similarly, Ananya Dubey of Bilaspur defeated her counterpart Sushmita Som by 4-1 to become champion.
Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries Deepal Ballewar was the chief guest of the prize distribution function while LIC CZIIA general secretary Dharmraj Mahapatra presided over. Special guest was Central Bank of India Chief Manager Gopichand Dewangan. Also present on the occasion were Chhattisgarh TT Association secretary Vinay Baiswade and Chief Referee Vimal Nair. Pradeep Joshi conducted the programme.
