Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed to take strict action against the people who are luring the youth into the world of intoxication.
Chief Minister Chouhan told Director General of Police Vivek Johri in Mantralaya today that various types of narcotics are being supplied at some places in the state. He got this information through various sources as well as newspapers. Some facts have come to his knowledge in this connection from news published in Dainik Bhaskar and Dainik Jagran today. Special teams must be formed to stop this unscrupulous business and drug supply.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that people linked with such crimes should be rounded up. They should not be spared at any cost. They should not be allowed to play with the lives of school and college going children by luring them into drug abuse. Students remain unaware of the ill effects of drug abuse. They should also be advised to not go in the wrong direction.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that incidents of drug abuse among youth should be taken seriously. They should be regularly informed about the progress of the campaign conducted in this regard.
