Carrying the message of development and safety, top level administrative and police officials of two district, for the first time, reached among the people of Jagargunda the most naxal-affected village of Chhattisgarh, on Saturday. The top bureaucrats and police officials assured the villagers of development and their safety while highlighting the government schemes being run for their development.
The Police and the CRPF had organised a civic action programme at Kamarguda, situated on the border of Sukma and Dantewada districts of Chhattisgarh. To send the message of peace and development, the senior officials reached the programme venue. The officials sat on the ground with the tribal and heard the issues pertaining to them.
Bastar IG P Sundarraj, Dantewada District Collector Deepak Soni, SP Abhishek Pallav, Sukma Collector Vinit Nandanwar, SP K L Dhruw and other senior officials reached the civic action programme and heard the grievances of the people with patience. The villagers were delighted to have these officials among them for the first time. These officials also had meals with the villagers. While District Collectors of Sukma and Dantewada sat on the ground with the villagers to hear their grievances, IG was seen serving food to the villagers. Sukma Collector himself drove a motorcycle to reach among the villagers.
