Raipur, Dec 16
As organisations affiliated to Chhattisgarh Karmchari-Adhikari Federation (CKAF) are set to stage third phase of demonstration to push for their demands, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Shikshak Federation has issued guidelines for its members for the December 19 demonstration to protest against state government’s dilly-dallyig character towards their 14-point demands.
The federation will join the demonstration and ‘Wada Nibhao’ rally in Raipur, said federation state president Rajesh Chatterjee, vice president Chandrashekhar Chandrakar, Vishnusingh Rajput, general secretary Rakesh Sahu and Satish Byohre.
They said that the government is ignoring the interests of employees serving at ground level. They say that while on the one hand government servants who play an effective role in the development of the state are being exploited financially, on the other hand they are also facing salary discrepancy, deprived of regularization and mandatory services conditions and benefits. There is growing anger over the neglect of government servants.
At least 10 active members from each block and tehsil unit will reach Raipur and join hands with the agitators present in the dharna, making the government feel the power of the government servants.
The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Teachers Federation has appealed to its members to make active contribution in the interest of the employees. It is noteworthy that teachers of Chhattisgarh state have not been approved the same pay scale as the central teachers. Due to which there has been a discrepancy in the gradation/time scale fixation of all other teacher cadres. Significantly, during the Corona era, the government is cutting the facilities of government servants by pretending to be lacking in economic resources, but other expenditure continues unabated, they said.
