Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue and the first spokesperson of the organization Madhav Govind Vaidya passed away at the age of 97-year after a short illness on Saturday.
MG Vaidya had contracted Covid-19 and recovered. He breathed his last in a private hospital in Nagpur. His last rites will be performed on Sunday, December 20. Vaidya jointed RSS after two decades of the formation of the organization and remained there for around 8 decades.
He was editor of RSS mouthpiece Tarun Bharat for a long time. He was appointed as the spokesperson after the formation of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government at the centre.
