As many as ten National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Chhattisgarh have been selected for the Republic Day Parade to be held on January 26, 2021 in Delhi.
The boys selected for the Republic Day Parade are Jitesh Kumar Dewangan from SSGI Bhilai/CSVTU, Lokmanya Sahu from BRSM College of Agriculture Engineering and Technology and Research Station, Mungeli, Vishal Kumar Devangan from Rajeev Gandhi Government PG College Ambikapur, Lakesh Kumar Sidar from Government EV PG College, Korba and Mahendra Kumar from BCS Government PG College Dhamtari.
Girls selected for the parade are Bhavna Jaisawal from K N College Korba under Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Jyoti from Government Chadulal Chandrakar P G College, Yashoda Rajwade from Veena Girls College Bishrampur, Surajpur, Honey Gupta from Bilasa Girls College, Bilaspur and Anshu Tirkey from Thakur Shobha Singh Government College, Jashpur.
Bilaspur Divisional Commissioner and Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Dr Sanjay Alang, Registrar In-Charge Dr H S Hota and NSS programme coordinator Dr Manoj Sinha congratulated Bhavna and other NSS volunteers on the selection.
