In two separate incidents of love-jihad, Yamunanagar, Rajasthan has registered two cases against Muslim youths Talib and Akram for allegedly abducting two minor girls.
In the first incident, parents of a 15-year-old girl approached Yamunanagar Police to lodge a complaint after their girl went missing. The girl was at home when they left for the market. After inquiring, her mother came to know that a neighbourhood boy Talib had also disappeared. She suspects Talib of abducting her daughter. Hamida Police Station has registered the complaint and launched a probe. The Hamida Police were still trying to locate the minor girl and the accused boy.
In the second incident, a 16-year-old girl disappeared after she left home for college. She was studying at Polytechnic College. According to the girl’s father, his daughter left home in the morning but didn’t return home. When the girl’s father contacted the college, the college administration told him that the girl didn’t even reach college on Monday.
The family has suspected a Muslim youth identified as Akram of abducting the minor girl. Sadar Yamunanagar Police has registered an FIR under Sections 363 and 366A of the Indian Penal Code.
