An Aligarh resident, who recently returned to the folds of Sanatana Dharma, has alleged that he is receiving threats. Uttar Pradesh Police provided Karamveer, earlier known as Qasim, with security cover after receiving a complaint from him.

In his complaint to the police, Karamveer said, after they did the Ghar Wapsi, he and his family were threatened. Aligarh Superintendent of Police Arvind Kumar said, on the complaint of Karamveer, department has given him and his family security at their residence.
Karamveer along with his family did Ghar Wapsi to Sanatan Dharma on December 20. He had married his wife Anita according to Hindu traditions and rituals a few years ago. They also registered the marriage at a Court.
His wife Anit said that his husband Karamveer has been threatened to renounce Sanatan Dharma and return back to his previous faith. Their family didn’t return for five days for the fear of threat on their life.
