Owing to alleged adamant attitude of Transport Organisation, essential commodities are not reaching in the remote areas of Bastar and bordering villages of Odisha-Chhattisgarh. As a result, the retailers and chiller businesses of these areas have decided to shut their business for indefinite period from December 28. As bookings of goods are not being done by the transporters, retailers and chiller businessmen are worried about their survival.
Such businessmen are now seeking support of Rajdhani Goods Transport Association, Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce, Bastar Chamber of Commerce for the resumption of bookings of goods. It is learnt that there has been rift between Bastar Transport Association and Raipur-Bastar-Koraput Transport Association owing to some issues, affecting the people of remote areas of Bastar and bordering areas of Odisha-Chhattisgarh.
