In an attempt to make sure timely disposal of people’s complaints, Chhattisgarh Police will be introducing the innovative initiative ‘Samadhan’ (Public Grievance Redressal System) in the New Year.
From 1 January 2021, people can directly lodge their grievance in the website of Chhattisgarh Police in situations when police are not taking requisite action on their complaints, said an official statement issued by Police Head Quarters (PHQ).
With the introduction of Samadhan, people, who have complained against the policemen but no action was taken, can directly lodge a complaint through the website, added the official statement.
According to information received, people can lodge their complaint into the website of Chhattisgarh Police (cgpolice.gov.in) by going through Samadhan link. By mentioning their name, address, mobile number and case number registered with police, a person can lodge his/her complaint following which Samadhan Cell will directly forward it to the Superintendent of Police of respective district.
“For timely disposal of complaints, Samadhan Cell has been constituted in PHQ and in cases of serious and sensible nature, I will directly speak to the complainant,” said Director General of Police (DGP) D M Awasthi.
