An 18-year-old youth was killed when three persons, including two minors, brutally stabbed him in Ganesh Nagar area here on Friday under Sirgitti Police station area. Police have arrested all the accused and registered a case offence against them before initiating an investigation into the case.
Deceased Raja Khan (18), son of Sheikh Rashid and resident of Ganesh Nagar, was unemployed since last few months owing to lockdown forced by Covid-19. Few days back he had a dispute with Rizwan Khan of the same area on monetary issue.
They also had heated arguments over mobile phone. All the accused are alcoholic and has been arrested by Police on many occasions for their involvement in criminal activities.
On Friday night Raja Khan after taking dinner was standing near his house when the accused along with his two minor friends came there and entered into verbal duel that turned worse. The accused then brutally stabbed the victim. The injured was rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. All the accused who fled from the crime scene were later arrested.
Police also recovered the weapon used to commit crime. During interrogation all the accused confessed their crime. Sirgitti Police that rushed to the spot after information took possession of the body and sent it for autopsy. Police have registered an offence and started further investigations.
