Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council meeting chaired by Minister Sarang concludes

Minister for Medical Education Vishwas Kailash Sarang issued instructions to resume para-medical teaching work in view of practical training of para-medical courses for institutions conducting paramedical courses in the state.
He also asked the Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council to introduce new employment oriented courses to promote employment in para-medical education. The 23rd General Assembly meeting of Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council was held in Mantralaya under the chairmanship of Sarang.
In compliance with the instructions of Minister Sarang, the Council office has given administrative approval to start various new postgraduate, graduate and diploma para-medical courses. In this, M.P.T. in Geriatrics, M.O.T. in Pediatrics, Diploma in PFT Technician and Bachelor in Respiratory Therapist courses will be conducted from Council level. In addition, he also directed to conduct one year courses.
Minister Sarang has instructed to register students after first verification / confirmation of the documents provided by them with a view to simplify the process for registration of bonafide students of Madhya Pradesh pursuing Paramedical education in other states, so that para-medical personnel can get employment in the state itself.
Minister Sarang has issued instructions that a huge building of Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council, Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council, Madhya Pradesh Medical Council being operated under Medical Education Department should be constructed for the use of Council Office on Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, Division Number-3, Bagmugaliya, PSP plot number-2, Bhopal, Bagh Sevania near Emerald Park City, with an area of 2871.30 square meters. All the formalities to get the above construction work done should be completed as soon as possible.
Sarang directed to prepare a high-level panel of inspectors for physical inspection of para-medical institutions established in the private sector of the state. In this, retired officers, district level administrative officers and subject matter experts of government medical colleges related to the subjects being taught in the institution should be included. An online programme should be developed and the institute should be inspected by the inspection committee constituted by the above team.
Commissioner Nishant Warvade, Director Dr. Ulka Shrivastava and Member Secretary Dr. Pooja Shukla were present in the meeting.
