Mock drill was performed at Covid-19 vaccination centres of three development blocks of Sukma district on Thursday. According to information, mock drill was done at Kasturba Gandhi Girls School in Sukma along with Konta and Chhindgarh development blocks under the supervision of District Collector Vinit Nandanwar.
There are three chambers for Vaccination. After verification of the identity card of the beneficiaries, they will wait for their turn in the entrance hall. After this, in the vaccination room, the vaccination officer will apply the dose of Covid vaccine to the beneficiary. Eventually the beneficiary will be kept in the observation room for about 30 minutes.
Nandanwar inspected the mock drill. He informed that all health workers working in the district will be vaccinated in the first phase of vaccination. He took stock of mock drills at Kasturba Gandhi Girls School and congratulated the health workers for making the drill successful. He informed that complete preparations have been made in the district for Covid-19 vaccination and the officers of the district administration and health department are fully prepared.
Vaccination will be held in three stages
Chief Medical and Health Officer C B P Bansod informed that vaccination will be done in three phases. In the first phase, the health workers of the district will be vaccinated, in the second phase citizens above the age of 60 years and in the third phase the citizens below the age of 60 years will be vaccinated.
