A Vaccination dry run will be organized in several districts of Chhattisgarh today. The State Health Department had geared up for the dry run.
According to the reports, the dry of vaccination will be conducted in Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Balod, Bemetara, Dhamtari, Gariyaband, Janjgir-Champ, Kawardha, Korba, Mahasamund Mungeli and Raigarh district.
The Health Department had scheduled the dry run from 10 am to 2 pm. Thereafter, a District task force will scrutinize the entire process at 5 pm and a report will be submitted to the state on January 9. The officials will check the readiness of the logistics system, vaccination centres inoculation practice and public management system that will be used during the real vaccination campaign. Earlier, the Health Department had conducted a dry run at Balrampur, Bijapur, Dantewada, Jashpur, Kanker, Kondagaon, Koriya, Narayanpur, Sukm and Surajpur on January 7. Hence, these districts have been excluded from today’s dry run.
