Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Jan 10
A security guard in Raipur allegedly murdered his wife by suspecting her of infidelity.
A man identified as Sanjay Kumar Suryavanshi (22), hailing from Janjgir-Champa district and working here as a security guard, allegedly murdered his wife Neelam Pradhan (21) at his rented house in Mowa under Pandri police station limits late on Jan 8 evening, informed Pandri Station House Officer (SHO) Yakub Memon.

Finding Neelam lying dead on the floor of her room, Vikas alerted police about the crime following which a search was launched for the accused. Prima-facie investigation suggests that strangulation was the cause of death but exact cause will be known after autopsy, informed police sources.
