CM Chouhan holds meeting of Industry Promotion Committee

Bhopal, Jan 12

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that it is our policy to promote industries and generate maximum employment through them. All essential facilities and concessions are being given to industries in the state. Commitments made to industries at the time of their establishment in the state will be fulfilled.

Chief Minister Chouhan was taking a meeting of the Industry Promotion Committee in Mantralaya today. Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Minister Rajwardhan Singh Dattigaon, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Om Prakash Sakhlecha, Commercial Tax Minister Jagdish Deora, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and other concerned officials were present.

Various incentives to industries

Chief Minister Chouhan said that government provides investment incentive assistance, land at concessional rates, rebate in electricity rate, infrastructure facilities etc. to industries in the state.

Priority to food processing industries

Chief Minister Chouhan said that priority is being given to food processing and industries processing raw materials found in the state.

More employment in readymade garment industry

Chief Minister Chouhan said that more employment opportunities are likely to be created from readymade garment industry in the state. Therefore, these industries are also being promoted.
