In an attempt to fuel secessionist elements in Punjab, a USA-based secessionist group “Sikh for Justice” has announced a reward $250,000 for the protesting farmers to raise Khalistan flag at India Gate on Republic Day, January 26th and disrupt the Republic Day parade.
SFJ is a US-based secessionist group run by one Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. In his letter posted on social media, Pannun called on the Punjab farmers protesting at Singh border to raise Khalistan flag at India Gate on January 26 and receive the reward.
He also announced legal assistance in resettlement as a refugee in the United Kingdom for the farmers who will raise the Khalistan flag. Pannun also made a veiled threat of raising violent movement in Punjab through the letter.
