As the second round of the Inderchand Dhariwal Memorial Congress Corporate Cricket League began on Tuesday, three matches were played under floodlights at Netaji Subhas Stadium in Raipur, said Congress Sports Cell president Praveen Jain.
The first match of the day was played between Sparsh Hospital and Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC). Winning the toss Sparsh Hospital decided to bowl first. Being put into bat, RMC team got off to a poor start and the entire team was all out for 49 runs.
Chasing the target, Sparsh Hospital achieved the winning target of 50 in just 4.4 overs. Man of the Match Dinesh took 3 wickets for 13 runs in 2 overs.

The second match of the day was played between Hira Group and CG Dial 112. Winning the toss, Hira Group opted to bat first and put a healthy 130 for the loss of 3 wickets. The highest contribution was made by Sumit who scored 46 runs off 22 with 5 sixes. Chasing the target, CG Dial 112 batsmen could score only 95 runs. Yashwant, who scored 34 runs in batting and took 1 wicket in bowling, was declared Man of the Match.
The third and final match of the day was played between Rishabh Builders and Raipur Mayor 11. Rishabh Builders decided to field first after winning the toss. Put into bat, Mayor 11 set the target of 113 runs. Rishabh Builders could score only 44 runs. Appu was declared Man of the Match for taking 5 wickets for Mayor 11.
