District Collector and District Magistrate Dr S Bharathi Dasan issued order to attach property and land Gurukripa Infra Realty India Limited Company Director Gurpreet Singh. The District Magistrate issued this order on the basis of report by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Raipur. Order of attachment of land was issued under Section 7 of Chhattisgarh Depositors Protection Act.
According to report of the SSP, a case under Section 420 of IPC and various other sections of Depositors’ Protection Act was registered against the company director in the Azad Nagar Chowki of Raipur. After a thorough investigation of the case, company director was found guilty of cheating investors on the pretext of making their money double.
According to the SSP, the company had sold 551 policy/bond to 421 investors and did not return their amount of Rs 1,82,99,101.00. The investors will be paid back their amount through the auction of the property of company director.
