Terminator Cricket Academy Raipur defeated BSP Bhilai by 20 runs in the final of Shaheed Memorial T-20 U-16 Cricket Tournament, played in Durg on Sunday.
Batting first, Terminators put 174 runs on board for the loss of four wickets. In reply, BSP team could score 151 for seven, falling short of 20 runs. Daya Shankar was declared Man of the Match in the final as he scored 51 runs and took one wicket for the champion team. Swayam Pandey claimed three wickets.
Earlier, Terminators defeated DCA Raipur to enter the semi final where they defeated hosts CAB Academy by 99 runs. In the final, Terminators defeated BSP team to become champion.
Captain of the team Shobit Sharma scored 135 runs in three matches while Swayam Pandey claimed nine wickets in the same number of matches. Chandrakar took five catches. Terminators’ coach Shabab Qureshi congratulated the team on the achievement.
