District Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan has issued order to attach property of the Director of Sun Shine Infrabuild Corporation Limited Company, Rajvir Singh, s/o Harivilas Singh. Property of Rajvir Singh at National Corporate Park (shop/office no.315 and 316 on the third floor) will be attached. The District Collector exercised his power under Section 7(1) of Protection of Interest of Depositors Money Act 2005.
The district collector’s action against the company director based on the report received from Senior Superintendent of Police, Raipur. It has been reported that a case was registered against the company at Azad Chowk Police station under relevant section such as Section 10 of Chhattisgarh Depositors Protection Act and Section 4,5 of Chit Fund and Money Operating Restraint Scheme Act, 1978.
After a thorough investigation, it was found that the property was purchased by the company’s director Rajvir Singh from the amount deposited by the depositors.
According to the attached documents, a total of Rs 4,10,00,000.00 has been invested by the depositors. A total of 2270 policies and bonds have been sold to 1965 investors. On conclusion of the investigation, it was found that the directors of the Company did not refund the amount of investors. This order has been issued to return the invested amount through attachment.
