Every poor will get the benefit of Sambal Yojana
CM Chouhan transfers Rs 224 crore ex-gratia to 10,285 beneficiaries

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Sambal Yojana provides support to the poor before birth till after death. Under the scheme, Rs 4 thousand is given before the birth of the child, Rs 16 thousand after birth, then ex gratia assistance is provided for studies, ration, house, treatment and after death. The previous government stopped giving benefits of the scheme to the poor. Our government has revived the scheme and every poor is being registered and benefits are being provided under the scheme.

Chief Minister Chouhan transferred ex-gratia assistance amounting to Rs 224 crore 08 lakh to 10 thousand 285 beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana through single click in a programme organized at Minto Hall today. Minerals and Labour Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh, MP V.D. Sharma, Principal Secretary Umakant Umrao and Labour Commissioner Ashutosh Awasthi etc. were present.

Concrete shelter and tap water to every poor by year 2024

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government has decided that no poor will live in a kuchha house and by the year 2024 everyone will have a solid shelter. Also, tap water will be provided in every house.

Priority to the last and lowest person

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Madhya Pradesh government pays attention first and foremost to the person at the bottom and the last person in the society. The government is arranging food, clothing, shelter, education and medicine for every poor.

More Shramoday schools will be opened

Chief Minister Chouhan said that four Shramodaya schools are being run to provide good education to the children of labourers in the state. With a view to expanding education, more Shramodaya schools will be opened in the state.

All have rights over resources

Chief Minister Chouhan said that everyone has the right over resources. We will provide all the rights to the poor. Those who earn more will take tax and help those who do not.

Sambal, Sarkar and Shivraj stand with you

In a virtual conversation with Mumtaz Bano of Betul district, Chief Minister Chouhan said that “Sambal, Sarkar and Shivraj are with you”. Mumtaz Bano said that with the ex gratia assistance of Rs 2 lakhs, she will start rearing goats and open a grocery store for livelihood. Her husband passed away due to cancer.

We are with you in every crisis

During aninteraction with Rashi Devalia of Jabalpur, Yashoda Bai Kushwaha of Barwah and Mamta Sikarwar of Ujjain Chief Minister Chouhan said that they should not consider themselves alone. We are with you in every crisis. Your brother is standing with you. You must utilize the amount received from ‘Sambal’. You must educate your children.

‘Sambal’ is the most sensitive scheme

Labour Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh said that Sambal Yojana is the most sensitive scheme of Chief Minister Chouhan. So far, benefits of Rs 1483 crore has been distributed to one lakh 80 thousand beneficiaries in the state. Under the scheme, one lakh 92 thousand migrant labourers are also being registered and given benefits.

Scheme appreciated in every state

MP V.D. Sharma said that Sambal Yojana has become the support of the poor in the state. The scheme is being appreciated in every state. Even during Covid crisis, the poor continued to get benefits of the scheme. The Government of Madhya Pradesh is a government dedicated to the poor. So far, the government has deposited Rs 82 thousand crore in the accounts of the poor and farmers.

Programme started with kanya pujan

The programme was launched by Chief Minister Chouhan with kanya pujan. Madhya Pradesh song was sung on the occasion.
