Results of written examination held for the post of assistant professors released 2896 candidates selected for interview for 1372 posts
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has announced the result of written examination conducted under the Department of Higher Education for 1372 post of assistant professors in various disciplines.
For these 1372 posts of Assistant Professor, 2896 candidates have been selected for interview. Of these, 199 candidates have been found eligible for interview for 130 posts of English subject. Similarly 192 candidates for 116 posts of physics, 143 candidates for 59 posts of political science, 152 candidates for 50 posts in Hindi, 26 candidates for 9 posts of Home Science, 378 candidates for 184 posts of Commerce and 247 candidates have been selected for interview for 150 posts in Chemistry. Similarly, 127 candidates for 99 posts in Mathematics subjects, 170 candidates for 61 posts in Economics subject, 168 candidates for 56 posts in History subject, 357 candidates for 147 posts in Botany, 278 candidates for 125 posts in Zoology, 152 candidates for 52 posts in Geography, 107 candidates for 36 posts in Sociology, 7 candidates for 5 posts in Geology and 36 candidates for 12 posts in Computer Science subject. Similarly, 18 candidates for 6 posts in Biotechnology, 45 candidates for 20 posts in Computer Applications, 25 candidates for 32 posts in Law (Law), 15 candidates for 5 posts in Sanskrit, 15 for 8 posts in Micro Biology. 22 candidates for 8 posts in Microbiology, 3 candidates for one post of Biochemistry, 3 candidates for one post of Forestry and 22 candidates for 8 posts in Information Technology have been selected for interview.
