RAIPURA Raipur Fast Track Court on Thursday pronounced 10-years of rigorous imprisonment to a 30-year-old man for raping a woman.
A Special Public Prosecutor Tarachand Kosle said a Court of Additional Sessions Judge Pooja Jaiswal convicted Yatinder Kumar Dhankar, a native of Durg district Chhattisgarh, of molesting a woman and pronounced the judgment. SPP Kosle further said the court also slapped a fine of Rs 2000 on the convict.
The case dates back between December 2012 and March 2018, when convict Yatinder Kumar Dhankar had sexually exploited the victim girl on many occasion on the pretext of marriage. As the girl asked him to marry, Dhankar refused the marriage proposal. A complaint was lodged with the Pandri Police Station, which registered an FIR under Section 376 (2) (n) (commits rape repeatedly on the same woman ) of Indian Penal Code.
