The final three matches of the league round of Walfort Jain Premier League were played at Subhash Stadium on Friday evening under floodlights. Veer Sports Club President Praveen Jain said that the first match was played between Vij Panda and Swarnabhoomi. Chasing Vij Panda’s 88 runs, Swarnbhumi could score 65. Chandraprakash goal was picked up 5 important wickets in his team’s victory and was adjudged Man of the Match.
The second match of the day was played between the Sankhra Brothers and Swastik 11. Sankhla Brothers put 57 runs for 7 wickets and target was achieved by Swastik 11 at the loss of 9 wickets. The final match of the same league matches was played between Elite XI and Nakoda 11. Elites scored 109 runs, in reply to which Nakoda 11 scored 96., Vaibhav Jain was declared Man of the Match for taking 4 wickets and scoring 54 runs for his team. The semi finals of the League will be played on Saturday evening followed by final will be held on Sunday evening.
