District Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan on Wednesday reviewed construction works underway in the district and asked the departments concerned to complete the work in the given time limit and ensure quality in the work. He directed the officials of the department concerned for site visit for inspection of work.
It was said in the meeting that as many as 619 works costing Rs 72.85 crore have been approved under District Mineral Foundation Fund. Out of 619 works, 470 have been completed while work on 149 projects in progress.
It was said that a total of 3240 works have been approved in the district under Mukhyamantri Samagra Gramin Vikas Yojana during the years 2014-15 and 2019-20, out of which 3111 works have been accomplished and 116 works are in progress. An administrative approved of Rs 3.66 crore have been given to 84 works for the year 2019-20. District Panchayat CEO Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh asked the officials to submit weekly progress report of ongoing works.
