National Students Union of India (NSUI) national president Neeraj Kundan will be visiting Chhattisgarh on February 3. To chalk-out plans ahead of Kundan’s visit, NSUI Chhattisgarh unit held a meeting at Rajeev Bhawan in Raipur on Thursday under the chairmanship of state president Akash Sharma. NSUI office bearers from Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Surguja divisions participated in the meeting. All the district presidents of the NSUI were also present in the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting to make the February 3 programme a big success and NSUI office bearers hoped that around 10000 NSUI members will be participate in it. The main objective of the programme is to oppose the farm laws of the central government.
NSUI state president Akash Sharma said that Kundan will be on two-day tour to Chhattisgarh and he will attend a mega ‘akrosh’ rally at Gandhi Maidan. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and other senior party leaders will be present on the occasion.
Bhilai MLA Devendra Yadav was present in the meeting as chief guest. Also present on the occasion were NSUI state vice president Bhavesh Shukla, Rakesh Gupta, state general secretary Pratik Singh, district president Amit Sharma, Aditya Singh, Tanmeet Chhabra, Viplav Sharma, state secretary Honey Bagga, Hemant Pal, Arunesh Mishra, Amit Tiwari, Yogesh Sahu, Vivek Yadu, Shan Mohammed, communication department head Tushar Guha and social media chairman Arpit Parganiha.
