BIHAR, PATNA: One Muslim youth allegedly bludgeoned his sister’s Hindu boyfriend to death as he didn’t approve of their relationship. Accused’s sister Shahnaz Parveen watched in horror as his brother Mohammad Mahboob mercilessly killed Manoj Kumar Sah.
According to the reports, both accused and victim are natives of village Birpur, Patna. Manoj and Parveen had a profound relationship for over 7 years. On Friday evening, while they were having a secret meeting, accused Mohammad caught them. As Manoj didn’t come home at a routine time, his family started searching for him. Their concerns further grew as the victim also stopped responding to phone calls.
Their search ended at a macabre site when they discovered the blood-soaked body of Manoj. Relatives immediately lodged a complaint with the Police, which apprehended Mohammad some 3 hours following the murder.
Initial investigation it was revealed that Mohammad had assaulted Manoj many times in the past after he learned about his relationship with Shahnaz. Mahboob’s brother was once arrested in connection to a homicide case. Manoj’s body had deep stab wounds in necks and ribs. Shahnaz has reportedly told the police that Manoj was killed in front of her eyes.
