‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ tech team selected for CSI-SIG eGovernance Awards 2020


The technical team of Chhattisgarh government’s ambitious ‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ has been declared winner of the 18th CSI SIG eGovernance Awards 2020. The award titled ‘Award of Recognition’ will be conferred on the technical team of the Chhattisgarh government online education programme, aimed at maintaining continuity of education of children , during a function at Lucknow on February 12, 2021.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  will be the chief guest of the award function and he will present the award to the technical team of Chhattisgarh. It is worthwhile to mention, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had launched the education programme on April 7, 2020 to ensure children do not suffer and continue with their education sitting at home. The technical team under the supervision of School Education Department Principal Secretary Dr Alok Shukla prepared the online portal in a record one week time. Later, the portal cgschool.in witnessed addition of new features at regular interval to make the online study more interesting and easy for students.

The team members include Principal Secretary Dr Alok Shukla, DPI Director Jitendra Shukla, SCERT Director Rahul Venkat, NIC senior director A K Somsekar, Samagra Shiksha Assistant Director Dr M Sudheesh, KPMG senior education advisor Satyaraj Iyer, NIC scientist Lalita Verma and NIC programmer Ajay Verma.
