National Service Scheme (NSS) State Officer Dr Samrendra Singh on Monday inaugurated a day long Covid awareness and health check-up camp at Nevsa (Bilaspur), the model village of NSS Chhattisgarh. It is to be mentioned, C M D Post Graduate College has adopted Nevsa village.
Addressing the volunteers and programme officials of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Singh said that the vaccination programme is going on in a phased manner in the country and state to prevent the corona pandemic. “We all should be very careful about rumours being spread by social medias these days,” he alerted.
Brijesh Rai, Secretary of Bilaspur District Legal Authority, in his online address , said that major accidents are occurring due to driving a vehicle after consuming drugs. People should be alert and drive a two-wheeler with helmet.
Dr Singh distributed sewing machines to three unemployed girls and blankets to 10 elderly people. State NSS Advisor Dr Vimal Patel, Program Coordinator of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Dr Manoj Sinha, District Organizer Dr Sanjay Tiwari, Dr Bhupendra Patel, Camp Convener Dr P L Chandrakar, Dr. K K Shukla, Prof. Rohit Lahre, Parmanand Patel participated in an awareness rally.
