Central budget will prove to be the budget for creation of Atmanirbhar Bharat

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has described the Union Budget as a symbol of the insistence, passion and spirit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the creation of a glorious, prosperous and strong India.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Union Budget presented under the difficult circumstances of Corona period will prove to be the budget for the creation of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi knows how to turn crisis into an opportunity. This budget is the humane budget that transforms the economy. The budget takes care of all classes. The Union Budget contains all aspects be it the poor section of the society or farmers, empowerment of women or creating new employment opportunities for the youth.

137 percent increase in budget for health

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a budget of Rs 34 lakh 80 thousand crore has been presented under difficult circumstances. The budget mentions the launch of Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swastha Bharat Yojana. There is a provision of 34 thousand crores for this. There is also a provision of Rs 35 thousand crore for the Corona vaccine. In terms of health, a provision of Rs 02 lakh 23 thousand 846 crore has been made in the Union Budget. In this way, the budget for health has been increased by 137 percent.

Contribution of states will increase in building infrastructure

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a provision of Rs. 05 lakh 50 thousand crore has been made in the budget for infrastructure development. Capital based expenditure and formation of financial development institutes will accelerate economic activities and create new employment opportunities which will enable long-term loans for capital schemes. Seven new textile parks will create new employment opportunities. In the Union Budget, the lending limit to the states has been increased to 04 percent of the gross domestic product. This will increase the contribution of states in infrastructure building and will pace up economic activities. With this, additional capital based works of Rs 13 thousand crore will be started in Madhya Pradesh itself.

Exemption in Income Tax returns, boon for the elderly

Chief Minister Chouhan termed the exemption to senior citizens above 75 in filing income tax returns as a boon on the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence. Chief Minister Chouhan said that one crore new families will be included in the Ujjwala scheme. Women will get 08 lakh gas connections in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the central budget, opening of new schools in tribal areas and 100 new Sainik Schools across the country will revolutionize the field of school education. Chief Minister Chouhan described the Union Budget as the medium for building a glorious and prosperous nation.
