UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam on Feb 7

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi, is conducting Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination 2021 on February 7. Examination will be conducted at seven centres of Raipur in Chhattisgarh. The examination will be conducted in three shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 11 am followed by the second shift from 12 noon to 2 pm and third shift will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The examination centres are Saraswati Nagar Nigam School, (Phul Chowk, Naya Para), Government Higher Secondary  (Mathpuraina), Shishu Niketan English Medium Higher Secondary  School (WRS Colony), Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Higher Secondary S School (WRS Colony), Shaheed Sanjay Yadav Government Higher Secondary School School (Sanjay Nagar), Government High School (Lalpur) and Shri Vaman Rao Lakhe H S School (Gandhi Chowk Chhotapara).

As many as 1926 candidates from Chhattisgarh and bordering states have been enrolled for the examination. UPSC Superintendent Shyam Babu will be reaching Raipur from Delhi and he will be the Observer for the examination.

Additional Collector Padmini Bhoi Sahu will be the district level Coordinating Observer while Deputy Collector Poonam Sharma will be Assistant Observer, Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Mission’s S K Patle will be the Control Room Incharge. There will be inspecting officers at all the examination centres. The candidates will have to comply with Covid protocols and UPSC guidelines.
