Private universities should impart education to their students in such a way that they can proudly say about the education of Chhattisgarh when they move out of country to make career in different sectors. Private universities have tried their best to provide better education to students through online mode during Covid pandemic period and it is commendable, said Governor Anusuiya Uike at the 16th Foundation Day celebration of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission held at the Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan on Monday evening. It is worthwhile to mention, the name of Governor Anusuiya Uikey has been registered in the world record as far as meeting with general public is concerned. Golden Book of World Record also presented the Governor with a certificate during the function. The Governor has met with a record 10,849 people between July 29, 2020 and January 6, 2021 and listen their problems. The Commission also provided a special welcome letter to the Governor.

In her address, the Governor said that the quality in higher education should be a continuity process. There has been an increase in the number of universities than before, but there is a need to adapt ourselves to the standards and try to reach all sections.

Commission chairman Dr Shivvaran Shukla said that even at this age, she is so energetic. This shows that if a person has a strong desire to work, then old age or age never becomes an obstacle.

All private universities should strive to make Chhattisgarh the best in the field of higher education, he said.

Dr Shukla said that all should resolve to start a subject on moral value carrying 100 marks and add to the syllabus. He also advocated for a syllabus related to Sanskrit because Sanskrit is the identity of ancient culture of the country. Courses related to Chhattisgarh language and culture should also be started in universities.

A souvenir of the webinar was released. Secretary to the Governor Amrit Kumar Khalko, Dr CV Raman University, Matt’s University, Kalinga University, ICFAI University, ITM University, Amity University, OP Jindal University, ISBM University, AAFT University of Media Arts, Sri Rawatpura Government University, Maharshi University of Management and Technology, KK Modi University, Dev Culture University, Sri Shankaracharya Professional University, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and Secretary of Bharti University were present.
