The two-day tour of National Students Union of India (NSUI) national president Neeraj Kundan to Chhattisgarh will begin on Thursday. As per schedule, Kundan will be arriving at Raipur airport at 2.15 pm by a regular flight. A road show will be organised to escort Kundan from Airport to Rajiv Bhawan. On the way, NSUI state unit members will welcome Kundan. NSUI State president Akash Sharma will welcome Kundan at Rajiv Bhawan. Thousands of NSUI members led by Kundan will march towards Raj Bhawan to stage a gherao on Thursday, pushing for their five-point demands. NSUI state in-charge Vishal Choudhary will also be present on the occasion. The rally has been named as ‘akrosh’ rally.

On Friday, Kundan will be visiting Abhanpur, Kurud, Dhamtari and Charama where he will be accorded warm welcome. Later, Kundan will be addressing a meeting at Kanker. Thousands of NSUI members are expected to participate in the meeting. The NUSI’s five-point demands include opening of a campus of Amarkantak Adivasi Vishwavidyalaya in Chhattisgarh, regional office of CBSE and UGC in Chhattisgarh, withdrawal of three farms laws of central government, Sainik School at divisional level and new Kendriya Vidyalaya for Chhattisgarh.
