Despite corona crisis, Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) selected eligible candidates against 2480 posts, laying vacant in various government departments, in the last 10 months. Whereas in previous years even under normal circumstances where only one examination could be held in the gap of 2 to 3 years, claimed a government release on Wednesday. A total of 15 competitive examinations were conducted in 10 months.
CGPSC achieved a major milestone by conducting many examinations in such a short span of time during corona period. The target was to send letters of recommendation by June 2021 by selecting candidates on 2480 posts advertised by the Commission, which is towards completion.
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission took the written examination of 1384 posts of Assistant Professor Examination on November 5 and 8 2020, the result of which was declared on January 19 2021. Candidates are being interviewed from February 9 2021. Similarly, written examination was conducted on September 21 2020 for 39 posts of Family court judge. The selection list was released on November 7 2020, with the results declared on October 13 2020. The result of the written examination of the judge was released within one month and within 20 days action was taken to send the selection list to the department concerned.
A written examination was conducted by the Commission on November 26 2019 for 56 posts of librarian, the result of which was released on March 17 2020 and the selection list was released on September 12 2020. Similarly, written examination was held on November 26 2019 for 61 posts of Sports Officer and on March 18 2020, the selection list was released on March 17 2020. Chhattisgarh PSC conducted the written examination on 15 January 2021 for 89 posts under the State Engineering Services Examination 2020. Action is being taken to dispose of claim-objection in this regard.
Similarly, written examination was conducted for 5 posts of Assistant Ground Scientists, Assistant Geochemistry
A written examination was conducted on November 28 2020 for 52 posts of Insurance Medical Officer and examination results were declared on 14 January 2021, interviews for these posts are being conducted from 2 February to 4 February. Written examination was conducted on 14 December 2020 for 25 posts of Assistant Director Agriculture and the result was declared on 20 January 2021. A number of other examinations were conducted and results were announced.
