International Umpire Ramchandran passes away

International umpire from Bhilai R T Ramchandran passed away at 4 pm on Thursday. Ramchandran was admitted to MMI Hospital ten days back after his COvid-19 test was found positive. He was official umpire of Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh and Board of Control for Cricket in India. CSCS members, players, coaches, scorers, match observers and officials expressed condolence on the demise of Ramchandran.

Ramchandran played the role of umpire in 32 Ranji Trophy matches, four One Day Internationals, 10 List A Matches, three Duleep Trophy matches, one each in Irani Cup and Wills Trophy, two each in Coca Cola Series, Pepsi Series, Jubilee (Hero Cup) and Charms Cup and stood as umpire in one match between South Africa U-19 and Senior India team.
