The state of Sikkim on Bharat-Nepal border has been jolted by a mild-intensity earthquake on Friday morning. National Centre for Seismology informed that tremors were felt at Bharat-Nepal border areas at 3:43 am.
NCS said the tremors measured 4.3 on the Richter scale. So far, no loss of life or property was reported. In the mid-January, an earthquake had hit the Hasao district of Assam in North East of India. That earthquake had hit at 12:45 am and was measured 4.2 on the Richter scale. There wasn’t any loss of life or property reported back then.
