District Education Officer Ashok Narayan Banjara visited Swami Atmanand English Medium School R D Tiwari amapara, Shaheed Smarak and B P Pujari School to take stock of the ongoing construction works and urged the Smart City Limited executive engineer and sub-engineer to complete the work at the earliest. It is worthwhile to mention, Municipal Commissioner has already asked the contractor to complete the work within 10 days.
Banjara held a meeting of the principals of the three above mentioned schools at B P Pujari School on the ongoing construction works and issued necessary instructions to them. The DEO asked the principal to start preparing n education calendar for their respective schools and follow it strictly. The DEO said that the English Medium School is one of the priorities of the state government and thus an action plan for the next three years should be prepared. The plan should include the thoughts of teachers, principals and students.
He told the principals and teachers that these schools are among the excellent schools of the state and it is their responsibility to maintain the same standard. “You have to prove your ability to maintain the status of excellent school. Therefore, you should prepare action plan as per the requirement of children,” the DEO told the principals and teachers in the meeting.
Directorate of Public Instructions (DPI) deputy director Chavre informed the principals and teachers on how they can prepare a better action plan and said that the vision of the teachers and principals should be very clear. Another senior official from the education department Patle was also present on the occasion.
